August Affirmations: Money Mantras

Happy August! Over the past few months, I have been in a season of transition. I’ve pivoted my career and took a leap of faith to become a full-time entrepreneur. I’ve felt a range of emotions, to say the least! This experience has also made me extremely aware of my finances, including my income, credit, debt, and assets. Something clicked when I stopped getting a direct deposit check every two weeks lol.

This month’s affirmations are centered around money mantras that I hope help you attract more of it and build a solid financial foundation.

Money does not buy happiness, BUT it does give you peace of mind and a sense of security.

In the digital age that we live in, there’s no excuse for why we can’t make more money. Our gifts, talents, and hobbies are monetizable only if we are willing to do the work. Being a full-time entrepreneur is not the goal for everyone, but having multiple streams of income should be. One of the collective lessons that we learned from the pandemic is the importance of stashing away money for unexpected life events.

While society may define us by the tax bracket that we’re in, we are so much more than our annual income. And in the same vein as trying to secure more bags, I also encourage you to evaluate your relationship with money and get clarity on the mindset shifts you need to make. I remember I was talking to this woman named Diamonde about my goals, and I said that I was broke.

She stopped me right in my tracks.

“You are not broke. Remove that word from your vocabulary.”

Noted.

Broke is a mindset. I didn’t realize it then, but I was affirming being broke and thus attracting more of that into my life.

Like Diamonde said to me, remove that word from your vocabulary. Money is in abundance! It is flowing to us.

Hopefully, these affirmations help you on your journey and inspire you to maintain inner peace despite external chaos while you’re getting to the bag.

  1. I am worth more than the number in my bank account.

  2. Multiple streams of income give me peace of mind.

  3. I am my biggest asset and my greatest investment.

  4. I am building wealth through calculated money moves.

  5. Money finds me effortlessly and often.

  6. I am not defined by my credit score.
